Self-management is when you manage the administration of your own care. It gives you the flexibility and choice to decide what services and supports you need to achieve your goals.
Our self-management plan is ideal for private self-funded customers looking to self select and pay as they go for services. You get to decide how and when you receive services to best meet your needs and design and coordinate your own care team and schedule.

You’ll get everything at your fingertips to design and coordinate your own care, services and schedule. We’ll help you activate your account so you can start connecting with Helpers, stay in sync with your schedule and keep tabs on your spending all within the one handy app.

With a simple tap of the app, let us know exactly what support you need and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours with Helpers who closely match your criteria. You can then compare their profiles, send them a request, and chat with them directly to organise and book-in a visit.

We can connect you to our huge network of allied health professionals like physios, psychologists, speech pathologists, music therapists - whatever it is you need Australia-wide.

Recommended hourly rate
$62
The recommended rate our Helpers charge for their services per hour Monday - Friday.
*Rates may vary depending on individual circumstances, weekends and public holidays.
Nursing
$135 per hour
Nursing services may include: wound care and management; medication administration such as assisting you to take medication; general health and other assessments; and certain medical tests including blood pressure. This does not include the price for goods such as bandages, dressings and continence aids where required.
12-hour overnight care
$350 per visit
Overnight care is ideal for people who need the peace of mind of on-call care through the night.
24-hour care
$660 per visit
This care option provides up to 10 hours of active support within a 24-hour period. It is particularly suitable for individuals who do not have family members nearby or who are unable to provide assistance with caregiving.
Member transport
99c per kilometre
Travel which occurs as a component of service delivery, for example transporting a Member to an appointment or community event. This is commonly referred to as non-labour expenses or fees.
Provider travel
Travel a Helper incurs on the way to or from delivering visits, excluding the first visit of the day. This will be charged based on the Helper hourly rate and capped at 15 min per visit.

When you look for a Helper remember to think about what matters to you. You can compare Helper profiles which tell you all you need to know, including their background, skills and interests. If you’re interested in any of them, you can send them your request and if they accept your invitation you’ll be able to chat with them directly and organise to book-in a visit.
