Five Good Friends uses a self-directed sign-up process, we believe in giving you the reigns of your onboarding from the beginning, we will guide you at every step so you can make the most of your funding. First, you use the Budget Calculator to explore your Support at Home funding and build a starting plan based on the services and frequency that suit your life. Second, you answer a short set of questions about your care needs and preferences, this helps your care advisor tailor the sign-up conversation specifically to you. Third, you book a sign-up meeting with the Five Good Friends team to review your plan and complete your membership. You can start the process at fivegoodfriends.com.au or by calling 1300 787 581.

Before your sign-up meeting, Five Good Friends asks you to complete two short online steps: the Budget Calculator, which helps you explore how your Support at Home funding could be used, and a brief questionnaire about your care needs and preferences. Both take only a few minutes and can be done at your own pace. Completing these steps means your sign-up meeting can focus on finalising your care plan rather than covering the basics from scratch.

After booking your sign-up meeting, a Five Good Friends Care Advisor will review your Budget Calculator results and questionnaire responses before your call. During the meeting, they will confirm your care plan, explain your membership options (Self-Managed or Full Service), and complete your sign-up. Following the meeting, you will be matched with a Helper who suits your preferences and routines. Your care can begin once your Support at Home funding transfer is confirmed through My Aged Care.

Five Good Friends is an Australian home care provider offering aged care and disability support services under the Support at Home program. Unlike many providers, Five Good Friends uses a matching process to connect Members with consistent, well-suited Helpers (care workers) based on personality, routines, and preferences.
