DV-Alert is currently offering a FREE online course for frontline community workers.

This is a great opportunity for Helpers to upskill their knowledge in working with Members with a disability who have been affected by domestic or family violence and provides information on how to respond in situations that require immediate intervention.

Designed for allied health, higher education, childcare and community frontline workers in Australia unable to attend the two-day face-to-face workshop. This module trains participants to recognise the signs of domestic violence when dealing with women with disabilities, respond accordingly and refer to appropriate services.

During this self-paced 6 week online course, you will learn how to recognise the signs of domestic and family violence, respond to women with disabilities experiencing domestic and family violence, and understand the best practice methods used to refer women with disabilities to appropriate support service.
