We just received notification this morning regarding the commencement of the 1B phase of the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out this Monday, 22 March. The government has provided information regarding who is eligible, what proof of eligibility is required, and where the vaccinations will be occurring.

We wanted to write to you immediately to let you know that we are now aware and are analysing the information from the Department of Health. Based on the information we have received, Helpers are eligible for vaccination as you provide frontline services.

The eligibility criteria is available here: https://www.health.gov.au/resources/publications/covid-19-vaccination-eligibility-declaration-form

This fact sheet lists the general practices, Aboriginal Controlled Community Health Services, and GP-led respiratory clinics where COVID-19 vaccinations will be available: https://www.health.gov.au/resources/publications/covid-19-vaccination-phase-1b-rollout

We will continue to analyse this and further information as it comes to hand to ensure we can provide the best support for all of our eligible Five Good Friends Helpers and workers to access this important vaccination. More information to come next week, including with regards to providing a letter to confirm eligibility.
