The challenges of managing COVID-19 remain with us in 2021. Restrictions and requirements are differing in each Sate as directed by the relevant State Health Department.

Helpers working in Queensland or visiting Queensland on holidays Anyone currently in Queensland who has been in Victoria on or since Monday 21 December 2020, should get tested immediately and quarantine at home or their accommodation until receiving a negative COVID-19 test result. Helpers who live and work in New South Wales Helpers who live and work in NSW must follow scenario 2c in the Standard Operating Procedure including wearing a mask for all visits. Scenario 3 applies when visiting members showing signs of COVID-19, who have been directed to self-isolate or have a confirmed diagnosis.

Testing remains a priority for everyone If you have symptoms of COVID-19 such as a cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or runny nose, even if these are mild, you should get tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible. To arrange testing contact your GP or you can visit a COVID-19 testing clinic in your area. Please advise us if you are going to be tested.

COVID-19 Safe work practices. Please ensure you remain familiar with COVID-19 Safe work practices including the Standard Operating Procedure and how it might relate to individual visit circumstances. Ensure you actively ask Members about symptoms on arrival.
